Fall Arrest Equipment Inspection and Rescue Planning

A harness that stops a fall is only half the system, because a worker left hanging in a harness can suffer suspension trauma within minutes if no rescue plan exists. This course teaches how to inspect and retire fall arrest equipment and how to build a rescue plan that gets a suspended worker down quickly. It uses the harnesses, lanyards and anchor types commonly found on African construction, telecoms and industrial sites.
