Cryogenic and Liquefied Gas Handling Safety

Liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon and liquefied petroleum gas are used across hospitals, laboratories, food plants and industry, and their extreme cold and rapid expansion create hazards that ordinary gas training does not cover. This course teaches the safe storage, transfer and use of cryogenic and liquefied gases, including cold burns, asphyxiation and pressure build up. Examples reflect the dewars, bulk tanks and cylinders found in healthcare and industrial settings.
