Kerbing, Paving and Sidewalk Construction Supervision

This course covers the setting out and construction of kerbing, block paving, walkways and associated drainage.   • Set out kerb lines, levels and falls from drawings.
  • Supervise base preparation and bedding for paving.
  • Control laying, jointing and edge restraint of block paving.
  • Ensure crossfalls and drainage move water away from surfaces.
  • Inspect finishes for level, alignment and accessibility.
  • Manage materials, waste and remedial work on site.
