This course gives site teams the practical surveying skills to establish control, transfer levels and set out structures accurately using modern instruments. Participants practise the day to day checks that catch errors before concrete is poured.

  • Establish and protect survey control points and benchmarks.
  • Transfer levels and set out grid lines for foundations and structures.
  • Calculate coordinates, bearings and distances for setting out.

  • Keep clear setting out records and as built survey notes.
